Stamford Demo Lesson

1. List appropriate standards:

Cambridge IGCSE: Reading


-Demonstrate understanding of written texts, and of the words and phrases within them
-Summarise and use material for a specific context

2. Create your objectives:

Students will know the difference between skimming and scanning. They will be able to
use context clues to find the definitions of certain words and/or phrases.
3. List materials and equipment required:

Copies of article, pencils, slips of paper, board, marker
