DATE OF EXPERIMENT: 11 and 18 July 2019

TITLE: INVERTING AND NON-INVERTING AMPLIFIERS

AIM: To determine the gain of inverting and non-inverting amplifier and

verifying the result with theoretical definition.

APPARATUS REQUIRED: 1) Opamp

2) One 1k and one 10k resistance
3) 2 voltage source (15V)
4) Sinusoid input (Voff =0, Vamp=5;1V, f=1kHz)
CIRCUIT:
INVERTING AMP
NON-INVERTING AMP

PROCEDURE:
1)Place OPAMP(LM741), Resistance(R/Analog) and Voltage input
(Vsin/Analog) as depicted above in the circuit diagram.
2)Place DC voltages at points (4) and (7) with orientation as shown in the
circuit diagram.
3)Connect wires and put probes at positive terminal of input and at
point (6).
4)Place ground and enter values of resistance and input and run.

SNAPS OF OUTPUT:
INVERTING AMP
NON-INVERTING AMP

INFERENCE: Initially when input amplitude was 5V observed output was -15V
but theoretically its expected to be -50V whereas when input changed to 1V
observed output was -10V as expected theoretically.
This is because OPAMP is powered till 15V which limits the output voltage
above 15V initially.
