Introduction

In this paper, we will present the processes of the company storage ALMAVIVA, this

will help us to understand a little more about logistics processes and in the same

way, to create strategies for the activities with shortcomings, the step by step

flowchart will be explained the operation.

Goals

Projecting storage logistics processes and functions of each of the employees in this

area, and execution of processes.

Logistics chain processes and the institutional strategic framework

According to the manual of processes and procedures of the Magdalena

Governorate:

A process can be defined as a series of activities, actions or events organized

interrelated oriented a specific predetermined result, as a result of the added value

provided by each of the phases that are carried out at different stages by those

responsible that develop the functions according to their organic structure.

At the same time, the procedures are defined there as:

Homogeneous modules that specify and detail a process, which make up an orderly

set of operations or activities determined sequentially in relation to those responsible

for the execution, which must comply with established policies and standards

indicating the duration and flow of documents. For example: procedure for payroll

payment, bill collection for services rendered, purchase and supply of materials, etc.

Based on the above and taking into account the training material "Strategic

framework of a master plan" and the material "Technical guide for the development

of manuals and procedures" located in the complementary materials by SENA,

develop a flow chart indicating the relationship between the processes and

procedures of the logistics chain and the objectives and goals of an organization.

The accuracy in the inventories is a clear sample that we have a group of

inventories that work with quality so that our customer has the merchandise

and can be assured that their allied distributors have their products available

in stock, the inventories are made by radiofrequency which are assigned by

the coordinators or assistants to the operator who will execute the count, in

case of presenting any difference the system generates a recount which is

assigned to another operator so that the radio frequency or RF is validated

shows the person The location, product and batch count if necessary, the

operator must only type the amount counted.

 Receipt handling

We also have receipt indicators which measures from the moment the vehicle

enters the porter we have 24 hours for the merchandise to be unloaded,

entered into the system and located according to the type of material in their

respective positions in this same way if the customer requests the

merchandise urgently we have the qualified personnel to dispatch it as quickly

as possible or in the manner of cross-docking, for the execution of the receipt

the vehicle arrives at the scale where it is given an initial weight the logistics

assistant checks documents and generates a Receipt task for the operator to

precede the entry based on the pre-alert sent by the client, this process is

carried out by means of radiofrequency in which an LPN is taken which is a

bar code that works automatically in which Product code, lot, quantity and

location are entered, after receiving the merchandise the operator delivers the

documents to the logistic assistant static which validates on screen what the

operator entered is correctly, the vehicle must weigh again in scale to obtain

the net weight of the merchandise, the driver's office is sent through a

document called CMM which carries the driver, vehicle and merchandise

information entered.

 Management to the office

For the dispatch, a time of 48 hours is handled from the moment the client

assembles the order through duly authorized email until it is picked up in the

warehouse, the logistics assistant pre-alerts the request requested by the

client, delivers it to his coordinator and this to his group of operators to be

enlisted, in the pre-alert the following information is a task in which the

operator by means of radiofrequency gives him a location code of the

material, lot and the amount that he must enlist this is taken to a dispatch dock

where it is reviewed by an auditor who proceeds to generate the physical

dispatch of the merchandise, the pre-alert is delivered to the logistics assistant

who dispatches the same system through CMM which carries the driver,

vehicle and vehicle data products shipped with their quantities.

It is understood in an easy and clear way, each of Almaviva’s processes in its storage

area is explained by a company that seeks ease and, above all, work with quality

and safety in each of its processes.

• Are the activities proposed in the process presented sequentially?

If for each process there is a step by step or manual which leads to the final

execution.

• Are those responsible for each activity clearly identified?

Yes, there are qualified personnel to carry out the activities contained in each

process.

• Is the execution time of each activity clearly identified?

Yes, the stipulated times for receipts and dispatches, time limit for a 24-hour receipt

and 48 hours for a dispatch are explained.

• Does the process facilitate its execution?

It is facilitated because each of its processes is standardized and carries a sequence

for a final execution.

• Is the relationship between the process and the company’s mission evident?

Clearly, we mission is to generate competitiveness to our customers and how we do

doing our work with quality in each of our areas.

• Is the relationship between the process and the company’s vision evident?

Yes, Almaviva with years is strengthened and known for its good performance in

each of its processes that will lead it to be the leading company in logistics solutions

in Latin America.

• Does the process correspond to the institutional objectives and goals,

through the cost / benefit ratio and the technologies applied in the process?

If the fundamental of this process has to do with the cost and benefit that customers

are given security, responsibility. Commitment and making each process with

quality, in technological area our clients can request their inventories, movements of

both entry and exit in very good times.

• Does the process meet the needs of the market segment to which the

company is directed?

Yes, Almaviva aims to be the leader in logistics solutions and this is done with

commitment, quality and responsibility.

• Do you think the logistics strategies comply with organizational policies?

Yes, strong and clear strategies are needed to compete in the market.

• According to the information consulted by the company, what logistic

strategies would you implement? What elements would you consider for your

development?

When serialized merchandise arrives, it is handled in the following manner, the radio

frequency serials are taken, but in an Excel, I would like an application to be created

in which the operator makes the radiofrequency capture and that these arrive at the

logistics assistant to be reviewed , the elements that would be taken into account

would be that the interface is fast and online that there is a direct communication

between operator and logistics assistant, all this would be to streamline processes.

Conclusions

Regarding the development of work we can see that in ALMAVIVA there are

standardized processes for each of its daily operations, in order to do a more efficient

and improved task with optimal times.
