North End Waterfront Locale il Molo Offering

Exclusive Tasting Flight of Famed Gaja Wines
Celebrated winemaker Angelo Gaja teams up with Boston hotspot

WHAT: North End seafood destination il Molo, owned by veteran restaurateur Donato
Frattarolli, has launched an exclusive wine flight program featuring three selections from
the highly regarded Gaja Winery. The family-run company has been producing wines
out of the distinguished vineyards of Italy’s Piedmont region for over 150 years, and il
Molo is excited to give both new guests and loyal customers an opportunity to taste
these exceptional offerings.

Guests will have the chance to sip on Gaja’s 2017 ‘Rossj-Bass Chardonnay,’ a beautiful
golden wine with notes of nectarine, pear, mango and pineapple; the 2015 ‘Sito
Moresco,’ made with Nebbiolo grapes, the very fruit that brought the Piedmont region
its fame and esteem; and the 2014 ‘DaGromis,’ a Barolo that gives off notes of berries
and flowers, combined with hints of licorice, dried herbs, and spices.

Outside of the tasting flight, il Molo only sells these wines by the bottle, so the team is
thrilled to be able to allow guests an opportunity to experience the wines that have
brought Gaja to such prominence. The exclusive tasting flight includes a glass of each
of the wines mentioned above for $115.
