Revitalizing the Rust Belt
In the 2008 financial crisis, GM closed its Moraine plant and laid off thousands of
workers.

In 2014, Fuyao took it over and invested over $600 million to redevelop it into the
world's largest auto glass manufacturing plant. With the Dayton plant, Fuyao is
playing a significant role in the North American auto industry.

In July 2015, the Carillon Historical Park Museum displayed the first windshield from
Fuyao's production line next to the last produced truck from the GM plant. The Moraine
city council voted to rename the road where FGA is located to Fuyao Avenue to express
gratitude towards Fuyao's contributions to the local economy and community.

Fuyao Group Heren Foundation U.S.A., Inc. donated

A Better Fuyao, A Better World

Fuyao is creating a brand-new
cafeteria to serve as a platform for
cultural exchange and social interaction.
Dubbed the “staff club,” the planned
cafeteria will provide lunch for all
employees at subsidized prices. It will
also serve as a site for holding
professional development workshops,
townhall meetings, and year-end
parties.

On June 25, 2019, Heren Foundation

U.S.A., Inc. (a charity foundation
founded by Fuyao Group) donated
$50,000 to Habitat for Humanity of
Greater Dayton to support them in
building safe, sustainable, and
affordable houses for low-income
families.

On July 20th, 2019, around 100 Fuyao

leaders, employees, and family
members came together to construct a
house for a low-income family despite
the sweltering 97 degree heat.
In January 2018, Fuyao
volunteers delivered authentic
Chinese meals to Ronald
McDonald House Charities
(RMHC) of Dayton.

In April 2018, FGA volunteers

helped the Foodbank in Dayton
package assorted vegetables into
individual packages.

In November 2018, Fuyao Glass

America provided over 2,200
frozen turkeys to its employees
to celebrate Thanksgiving with
their families, and an additional
200 turkeys to The Foodbank
in Dayton.

In January 2018, Heren Foundation

USA donated $50,000 to the Dayton
Foundation to support the Fuyao
Glass America Hardship Fund to
help FGA hourly associates who have
experienced unexpected financial
distress.

Fuyao Glass America works with the

University of Dayton to help it grow
an international reputation and
attract people from around the world
to learn and work together. The
university also collaborates with
Fuyao in research and
development, developing new
technology and improving
management effectiveness.

In July 2018, Heren Foundation USA

donated $50,000 to the Dayton
Children’s Hospital to equip the
hospital’s facilities with state-of-the-
art medical technologies.
ADVANCED AUTO GLASS
TECHNOLOGIES

The automotive industry in America is rapidly changing and Fuyao is helping shape its
future. Fuyao is developing new, innovative glass technology to improve people’s driving
experience, including rolling out low-carbon environmental products to reduce carbon
footprint.

WINDSHIELDS FOR VEHICLES THAT CARRY ADVANCED

DRIVE ASSISTANCE SYSTEM (ADAS) FUNCTIONS
ADAS sensors or cameras are commonly
mounted on the glass. Once a windshield is
replaced, the camera must be recalibrated to
ensure the driver’s safety. We produce the
original specifications of auto glass which
enables easy recalibration of the ADAS
system.

HEADS UP DISPLAY (HUD) GLASS

HUD glass allows the driver to focus on the
road by putting parts of the dashboard in the
windshield.

ENERGY-SAVING COATED GLASS

Fuyao’s coated glass reflects 65% of IR rays,
reducing fuel consumption by 3-5% in the
summer. Our anti-glare function makes
driving at night safer.
Fuyao is the loyal original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products partner for the
top auto brands in America. We provide a full range of customized solutions for
vehicle glass. We require synchronization design with customers to respond to
market demand and create value. We sell aftermarket replacement glass (ARG)
products with the same material and technological standards as our OEM products.
