1B – Blocks to fan

This shows the same result as 1A made from a reversed sequence. An understanding of this
process will help us to do non-standard collapse order on the final model. Use your 1A test fold
as a reference as you stretch out the blocks.

This guide shows the sheet being turned over many times. It may be helpful to attempt the
process while only keeping the colored side up – perhaps when you finish the photographed
method, flatten it back out and try again the new way.

The paper used in the guide is large kami.
