EXPERIMENT NO. 5 : SIMULATION OF RESERVOIR MODEL WITH DIFFERENT


NO. OF WELLS
OBJECTIVE
To study about Simulation of Reservoir Model with different no. of wells and Reservoir
Modeling & Simulation using PETREL.

PRINCIPLE
The main objective is to simulate the exploitation of a real reservoir without the costs of
real life trial and error, e.g. to test different production scenarios to find an optimal one
before the reservoir is actually put on production.

Server: Virtual or VMWARE

OBJECTIVE
To help students understand the importance of Gridding and its selection in Reservoir
Model using PETREL

PRINCIPLE
The main objective is to simulate the exploitation of a real reservoir without the costs of
real life trial and error, e.g. to test different production scenarios to find an optimal one
before the reservoir is actually put on production.
