during his relationship with that particular text.”

 One that is designed to head the learner to understand and enjoy something.

II. Squeezing the juice of the literature
 Reading literary selections, poems, short stories, novels, plays, or essays, not only provide
pleasure. The task also developed your analytical skills as you must consider each of the
parts of the text separately before you can interpret the meaning of the entire work and
eventually appreciate reading.
A. Poem
The Sick Rose- William Blake
O Rose thou art sick.
The invisible worm,
That flies in the night
In the howling storm:

Has found out thy bed


Of crimson joy:
And his dark secret love
Does thy life destroy.
 There can be many interpretations to this poem such as the theme or the topic of the poem.
Example one may look at it as a literal story of a worm who threatens and destroy a rose, or
perhaps this can be interpreted as a case of love.

B. Short Story
THE LAMENT- Anton Cheknov
This is an example of story that one may appreciate enjoy despite not having a typical happy
ending or a happy team. The story depicted a misery of a man who found difficulty in sharing
the sorrow he was in. he ended up talking to his horse.

C. Novel
Chapter 21- The Little Prince
This is one famous chapter of the renowned novel by de Exupery. This chapter tackles the
prince taming the fox, with the famous line, “ What is essential is invisible to the eye”.

D. Essay
Name Game- Philippine Daily Inquirer YOUNGBLOOD
This is an essay of a man who shared his story wearing his uncanny name. this tackes about
acceptance, and the delivery of the essay was artistic and creative and with sprinkles of
humor.

- is a record which contains the results of different assessments, evaluation, and judgements
held from time to time during the course study of a student.
- It is an evaluation tool which presents a comprehensive record of the achievement or
otherwise of each student in different aspect-physical academic, moral, social and health. It
begins as soon as the child enters the school and continues till he leaves the school.

3. To provide proper guidance and counselling taking into consideration of students curricular
and co- curricular achievements.
4. To help parents and teachers in the placement of pupil after the completion of schooling /study
