drink and French frie, uing ver aic hape in Illutrator.

1. Create a New Document and etup
• tep 1. Pre Cmd + N to create a New Document. et the Unit to Pixel and the ize to
800  x  600px.  In  Advanced  Option,  et  the  Color  Mode  to  RG  and  the  Reolution  to
72ppi.

In Preference (Cmd + K) input 1px in Keoard Increment. Click OK.

You can go to Window > Info, to preview the ize and poition of our hape. Rememer
to et the Unit to Pixel in dit > Preference > Unit. Thi will help ou work fater.

2. Make the tale
We’ll tart  drawing the tale and it leg.

tep 1

For the tale top, draw a 440 x 20px rectangle (Color: #D63) and et the troke weight
to 6px. From the troke Panel, appl Round Join for the outline.

For the tale leg, draw a 25 x 88px rectangle (Color: #D63), alo with a troke weight
of 6px. elect the Pen tool (P) and add an anchor point on the lower part. Then delete it
with the Direct election tool (A).

Then, move the anchor point on the right, up, uing the Direct election tool, a hown in
the image elow. Cop the leg (Cmd + C > Cmd + F) and place it on the other ide of the
tale.

3. Make the oft Drink
tep 1

Make an 86 x 156px rectangle (Color: #F04903). elect with the Direct election tool (A),
the lower anchor point and move them in 10px, making a trapezoid.

Now make a 44 x 44px ellipe (Color: #FC206) in the middle of the cup. elect the Pen
tool (P) and draw two triangle on the cup and  ll them with thi color: #FFFFFF.

We need to draw the lid of the cup. elect the Rounded Rectangle tool and make a 104 x
12px rectangle (Color: #FFFFFF). et the Corner Radiu to 6px, and the troke weight to
4px.

For  the  traw,  draw  a  7  x  44px  rectangle  (Color:  #FFFFFF)  and  rotate  it  340º  in  the
Tranform  Panel.  Add  another  56  x  7px  rectangle  (Color:  #FFFFFF)  and  add  it  to  the
previou one with Unite in the Path nder. Now lightl end the inide angle uing Live
Corner with the Direct election tool (A). Finall, group the element of the traw (Cmd +
+
G) and place it eneath the cup  right clicking > Arrange > end to ack.

Group everthing (Cmd + G).

4. Make the hamurger

We’ll tart the hamurger  making the urger un. Draw a 129 x 41px rectangle (Color:
#F2934) and round the top corner with the Direct election tool (A) and Live Corner.

Then, add a lice of ham  making a 140 x 10px rectangle (Color: #F16554C) and et a
Corner Radiu of 5px in the Tranform Panel.

Draw  the  lettuce  with  the  Pen  tool,  etting  the  troke  weight  to  6  px  and  the  color  to:
#71A51.

Next,  add  a  lice  of  cheee  uing  the  Rounded  Rectangle  tool  to  make  a  140  x  10px
rectangle (Color: #FC206) with a Radiu of 5px and a troke weight of 6px.

end the lettuce ehind  right clicking > Arrange > end to ack.

Add  the  urger  meat  with  a  140  x  13px  rectangle  (Color:  #FD503)  uing  the  Rounded
Rectangle  tool.  et  the  Radiu  to  7px.  Then,  cop  the  lettuce  (Cmd  +  C  >  Cmd  +  F)  and
place it underneath the urger meat.

Latl, add the ottom lice of read  making a 129 x 28px rectangle (Color: #F2934)
and round the lower corner with the Direct election tool (A) and Live Corner.

tep 4

We’re going to add a it of cheee poking out etween the urger’ laer. Draw thi with
the  Pen  tool  and  give  it  thi  ll  color:  #FC206  a  hown  in  the  image  elow.  elect  the
hamurger and group everthing (Cmd + G).

5. Make the French Frie
tep 1

Now we’ll make ome tat French frie! Firt, we’ll need the holder for them. Make a 102 x
94px  rectangle  (Color:  #F04903),  and  with  the  Direct  election  tool  (A),  elect  the  lower
anchor point and move them in 8px.

Then, make a 34 x 34px circle with the llipe tool (#FC206) in the middle of the holder.

Make a 75 x 75px circle with the llipe tool and place it on the holder. Appl Minu Front in
the Path nder.

tep 3

Add the French frie. Make a 10 x 120px rectangle (#FC206) and et the troke weight to
5px. Make variou copie (Cmd + C > Cmd + F), rotating ome with the Rotate tool (R) and
placing them ehind the holder. (Right click > Arrange > end to ack.

Firt, we’re going to change the troke color of the whole illutration. elect everthing and
change the troke color to: #5372. Then go to Oject > xpand Appearance.

Ungroup  each  of  the  oject,  electing  them  and  preing  hift  +  Cmd  +  G.  With  all  the
oject eparated, it’ eaier to work on the detail individuall.

Make  a  cro    drawing  two  16px  long  line  with  the  Pen  tool  (P),  and  et  the  troke
weight to 6px. Then make another one the ame wa, ut with 10px long line.

Add  two  4x  4px  circle  with  the  llipe  tool,  and  then  another  7  x  7px  one.  Remove  the
troke of the circle.

Ue thee color for the tar and dot: #FFC0, #F04903, #653426, #FF8500.

Make an 800 x 600px rectangle with thi  ll color: #F22C9. Place the rectangle at the ack
of the illutration (Right click > Arrange > end to ack).
