    To check RCU status using LMT: 1. Log in to LMT and scan all racks by right clicking on BS8900 and choosing "Scan AISG Device". 2. The scan will take approximately 7 minutes; wait for it to complete. 3. The results will show if the RCU device is successfully installed; if not, check the installation or device for faults. 4. If installed correctly, request OMC to calibrate RET; successful calibration completes the RCU installation. Failed sectors may indicate faulty RCU connection or device.

    How to Check RCU status

    using LMT
    Firstly, You have to Login with LMT, and right click to BS8900 and choose Scan AISG
    Device
    Scan AISG Device window will appear and then Right click and choose Scan AISG
    Device.
    Choose All racks and apply OK.
    It will scan AISG device for about 7 min. You have to wait at this moment
    doing nothing.
    This is the sample result of successful installed RCU Device. If your
    installation was Wrong or Device faulty, You will not see like this result.
    If your checked result is ok, You call OMC Engineer and
    request to Calibrate RET.
    If the calibration Result is successful, All Tasks of RCU
    installation are finished.
    If Calibration Results of some Sectors are failed, The
    ‘external extended device is faulty’ alarm will show in RRU.
    If so, you need to check related RCU connection cable and
    device again.
