Do you think it matters whether Supreme Court is demographically representative of the larger

society it serves? Explain.

I think that it matters if the Supreme Court is representative of any kind of society because it may lost
public trust on the Supreme Court. Supreme Court has final words and it is the representative of the
country’s constitution, judiciary system and justice which means that it should work independently to
serve all sectors, races, languages, regions of within its defined boundaries. Representing any society or
race leads towards injustice, inequity and ultimate destruction of the country.

Beyond the importance of diverse court, do you think justice may rule, in some cases, based on ethics
or race oriented experiences in our society? Explain.

Justice means equality which means that in all cases, justice should rule irrespective of ethics or race.
Human nature tends to bias towards its deeper attraction but for a judiciary system it should be tackled
to provide equal rights in society.

If you were a senator, would you vote to confirm a Supreme Court nominee whose views you disagree
with, simply because the nominee would diversify the court? Why or why not?

It depends on the level of disagreement regarding diversifying the court. If the nominee is known for his
views that I opposed, but the country is either harmless or beneficial, then I’ll definitely vote for him. But
if his views can put US towards political, racial, religious or regional issues that might lead towards civil
war, I’ll never vote him regardless of any kind of pressure or personality.
