Executive Summary

Due to the fact that bubble teas have started gaining wide acceptance in the Philippines,
especially in Pangasinan, a team will establish bubble tea business so as to offer their
various customers quality tea as well the choice of having different flavors.
Milk tea is also known as pearl milk tea, boba milk tea, boba tea, tapioca tea, pearl tea,
bubble tea, bubble drink, tapioca pearl drink, momi, momi milk tea, QQ, or any
combination above. The oldest known milk tea consisted of a mixture of hot Taiwanese
black tea or green tea, small tapioca pearls, condensed milk, and syrup. Many variations
were created the most common of which is served cold rather than hot.
GiMilk tea café business is located in a strategic location, in the university belt of Urdaneta
Pangasinan, that is not saturated thereby offering them the opportunity of attracting
more customers. The expected target market of the café are the students,
teachers/instructors, Motorists, and Residents of the said location/place.Also, we are
located in a place that is easy for customers and employees to conveniently have access
to.
The team have carefully considered their competition here in Urdaneta and are rest
assured that they would stand out from them due to their quality products and services
with affordable pricing and also due to the fact that they have laid down publicity
strategies that will be effective in making them stand out once implemented.
Due to the fact that they intend to serve their milk tea in different varieties and also that
they believe in having a professional package, they are therefore investing in specialized
bubble tea making equipment such as shakers, sealers, and an electric induction heater.
The team also have invested in quality small equipment such as stirrers, sugar dispensers,
tea jars and a Point of Sale (POS) Machine.
Even though bubble teas are a specific niche, there are still different flavors that their
customers can choose from; this is why they have developed a menu that will
accommodate different bubble tea flavors and add-ons to accommodate any of their
customers’ wish. The team also added side dishes in the menu.
Because they know how important it is to use only quality equipment in making bubble
tea, they intend to source for their ingredients from Taiwan, the original source of milk
tea, and some of their ingredients came from PHNI (Popular Households Names INC.),
where they have best of class food ingredients, supplies and materials to food
manufacturers and end-users.
The team’s purchasing manager has carried out the necessary research on this and has
identified quality suppliers and vendors that fit our budget.
Their employees are the face of the business and so they will not only pick competent
employees to help run the business but also be able to communicate the brand effectively
to our customers. Also, their employees will be trained on how to make bubble tea that
are of GiMilk Tea’ standards.
The team will also pick a talented acoustic band who will be performing on the mini stage
of the café to give entertainment to the people. GiMilk Tea team will also assure that the
materials and instruments are in place and complete to give the best type of music.
GiMilk Tea is owned and operated by six people, Ma. Antonette Leaban, Neilbrent Munoz,
Gian Mones, Sander Esquillo, Patricia Rillera, and Vince Bangsoy. The people behind this
business are business minded and assured that the business will be worth it in the future.
