AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE PHILIPPINE IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM (RA 11055)

I. Introduction

a. Speed up transactions, deter crime; this is the main purpose of this


law. Filipinos will now have an easier transacting time when engaging
in public transactions.

b. Thesis statement: The Republic Act 11055 or An Act Establishing the


Philippine Identification System perceive a lot of positive features that
can be helpful for the Filipinos. However, there are some issues or

a. Faster identity verification, even without bringing physical id
unlike in the past that it will take months to process all the
information.
b. Having this national id, it would result to easier and faster
transactions in the different government and private institutions.

since the people would no longer need to take long lines when
processing documents and getting the requirements. The
government will easily identify us through this id.

a. If you’re tracking a person who committed a crime or identity
theft, you can easily get their information right away through their
ID.
b. Aside from any modification of personal information, there is also
a prevention of crime that can easily trace if you’re having a fake
information and you’ll be punished with this act.

public programs.

a. This law is helpful for it provides easier access to people that
would easily track your complete personal information.

a. Restatement of thesis:There are some issues or negative effects that


can be brought by implementing this RA 11055 or An Act Establishing
the Philippine Identification System. However, we can’t deny that it has
a positive features that can be helpful for the Filipinos.

Identification System entails the development and full
