Six Things to Do If You Visit Paris

Paris is the most popular tourist destination in the world. There are many reasons why so many
people enjoy visiting the diverse country, including the natural beauty, the amazing climate,
outdoor recreational activities such as golf courses, art museums and galleries and so much more.
There are many different activities that outline the history of the country which are enjoyable to
visitors, especially considering its turbulent past.

1. Watch the Sunset from the Eiffel Tower

One of the most enchanting things to do in Paris is a visit

to the Eiffel Tower in the early evening, when the gentle
lighting has a ethereal effect. Ascending the Eiffel Tower
in the late afternoon until dusk, visitors will notice
golden glows on the horizon change to amber hues. From
each level of the tower, the panoramas become even
more spectacular as the sun goes down, with the city's
monuments illuminated and the Seine River reflecting
the stunning colors of sunset. Another bonus, every
evening the Eiffel Tower is decked out with glittering lights that sparkle for five minutes on the
hour.

2. Take a Seine River Cruise

Cruising the Seine River is a fun way to see all of Paris'

top sights while enjoying a relaxing experience. The
Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches offers scenic boat tours,
sailing past the Place de la Concorde, the Louvre, the
Musée D'Orsay, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, and other
landmarks along the way. Tourists can choose from a
variety of Bateaux-Mouches boat tours, including daytime
boat tours, brunch or lunch cruises, and romantic dinner
cruises. At night, the monuments along the Seine are
illuminated, creating a truly captivating impression. The Bateaux-Mouches kiosk is located at
Pont de l'Alma near the Eiffel Tower.

3. Louvre Museum

In the former royal palace of French Kings, the Louvre is

an incomparable museum that ranks among the top
European collections of fine arts. Many of Western
Civilization's most famous works are found here including
the Mona Lisa by Leonardo DaVinci, the Wedding Feast
at Cana by Veronese, and the 1st-century-BC Venus de Milo sculpture. The collection owes its
wealth to the contributions of various kings who lived in the Louvre. Other pieces were added as
a result of France's treaties with the Vatican and the Republic of Venice, and from the spoils of
Napoléon I. The Louvre has an astounding collection of 30,000 artworks, including countless
masterpieces.

4. Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris has some incredible rides such as Space

Mountain (an adrenaline junkies dream), Pirates of the Caribbean
and Tower of Terror. You should spend the day exploring all the
rides that the park has to offer. There is something for everyone,
whether you like spooky, fast or slow rides, Disneyland Paris has
got you covered. Not only are there some amazing rides to
experience but also you can meet some of the famous characters with a meet and greet

5. Arc De Triomphe

Built in the honor of imperial army in the 19th century, Arch of Triumph is
an excellent structure and one of the famous places in Paris. The amazing
sculptures, pillar carvings and engraved victory tales on the arc are the
elements of beauty here. The beauty of the place lies in its beautiful
architecture. It is guaranteed that you are sure to get mesmerized by the
amazing architecture of the place. It is because of its a beautiful
architecture that the place is so popular among the tourists. Throughout the
year thousands of tourists visit the place. Make sure that you check the
place on your list

6. PARC DES PRINCES, STADE DE France

Paris has long been a city of art, culture, night life, sidewalk
patios, boulangeries, cafes, bars, and restaurants. It, historically, is
not a football (soccer) town. But that is beginning to change. Paris
is home to the top (and richest) football club in the country, Paris
St. Germain. PSG play at the famed Parc des Princes in 16th
arrondissement. It’s always a fun atmosphere there, even if you
don’t like football. And if you don’t like PSG (as many French
fans don’t), feel to free to cheer for the visiting team. Just be civil about it.
