If you want to extend this unit past these five weeks, you could also view a film of the play either act-by-act as you move
through the material or save it until the end as a culminating experience while you get some essays graded. I haven’t found
any version of Julius Caesar that I love, so I usually just use a few short clips of the 1953 Marlon Brando version here and
there as we go through the play. If you’ve found a fresh, high-quality version of this play that would be good to share with
everyone, please let me know so I can add it to the list of suggestions for other teachers.
