Answer: Our street named "Juan Luna, Gomez street"

Answer:

Juan Luna y Novicio better known as Juan Luna was a Filipino painter, sculptor and a political
activist of the Philippine Revolution during the late 19th century. He became one of the first
recognized Philippine artists.

He participated in the struggle for Philippine independence, each using his unique talent.

He served our country during the most difficult stage of creating the Filipino nation.

He become one of the first recognize Philippine artist.

Fr. Mariano Gomez was a Filipino Catholic priest, part of the Gomburza trio who were falsely
accused of mutiny by the Spanish colonial authorities in the Philippines in the 19th century.

He was placed in a mock trial and summarily executed in Manila along with two other
clergymen.

C. Using the criteria of a hero, asses weather they answer the criteria of being a hero.

Answer: Juan Luna is hailed as a hero of the Philippines due to being actively involved in the
emancipation of the country from the hands of the Spaniards.

While Fr. Mariano Gomez also called as one of a hero in the Philippines because he is one of a
secular priest who would then be collectively named GomBurZa—were tagged as the
masterminds of the uprising
Aside from taking care of the spiritual necessities of the town and the church, he also taught
agriculture and cottage industries. Gómez also helped in maintaining a harmonious relationship
among his other priests. He fought for equal rights of native priests against the abuses of their
Spanish counterparts.
