Task 1 : Essay

1. A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community.

Do you support or oppose the factory? Explain your position.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

To meet the demand of the growing population it gets obligatory for the companies to grow at much
faster rate. An enormous efforts goes into the development and construction of a factory.One important
aspect of setting up a factory is the site,location and its neighboring surroundings.

I strongly Oppose the concept of an establishment near my community. It is statistically also proven that
the residents do not approve if the companies set up their factory in their near by area.It is an important
aspect to understand that any such entity especially those which produces a product will have big
machines which will result in noise pollution. The mass amount of waste from the establishment and the
huge workforce will destabilize the lives of the residents.

Our city comprises of hospital, schools and Parks. Our place has maximum number of children and old
citizens who most likely would not like to give their morning and evening strolls of these parks.

Concluding the complete argument,the current setup and design of our community wouldnot very well
compliment the factory being setup near by.However we agree that it is important to set up the factory
to provide employment to people but then its setup should be done at a distance which shouldnot
affect the people residing in the city.
