8th Grade Casual Spring Fling Dance Rules

(yes, students there will be rules)

1. ONLY Sallisaw Middle School 8th grade students will be
allowed in at the door.

2. You must purchase a ticket before Friday, May 8th to be

allowed to attend the dance.

3. You must have your purchased ticket with you to get in

the door on Saturday, May 9th. If you do not have your
ticket or you lose it, there are no replacements and you
will not be let in, PERIOD!

4. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON TICKETS, SONGS

PURCHASED, OR CONCESSION ITEMS!

5. Your attire/clothing must comply with the Sallisaw Middle

School student hand book. This is a DANCE NOT A PROM
OR SOCIAL! NO FORMAL ATTIRE!

6. All entrances and exits will be monitored by adult

chaperones.

7. Each student must be signed out by a parent at the end of

the dance (9 pm) or have written permission on file with
Mrs. Gremillion before May 8th, to be eligible to leave with
a friends parent. NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO WALK
HOME, ANYWHERE ELSE IN TOWN OR TO A FRIENDS HOUSE
AFTER THE DANCE HAS ENDED.
8. Student council will be selling song requests for $1. You’ll
need to see one of the 8th grade student council members
to purchase a song request slip. You will need to have the
song request slip turned into Mrs. Gremillion by May 4th.
NO REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE!!!!

9. All song requests and/or song dedication will be

monitored through Mrs. Gremillion and Mrs. Randolph. If
we deem it inappropriate, then it is and there will be no
refunds!!!

10. If you go OUTSIDE of the Sallisaw Middle School building

during the dance, there will be no returning. Your parents
will be called to come pick you up. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

11. All other codes that are in the Student Handbook will be
upheld during this dance. If you choose to break any of
the rules, even just once, you’re parent will be called to
come pick you up.
