    ALBUM REVIEW

    OBJECTIVE:
    Write a critical album review on an album of your choice. The review should
    be written in sentence/paragraph format (approximately one page, double
    spaced) and address the following elements of the album:
    1. Artist Background
    2. Recording Background
    3. Songwriting
    4. Music
    5. Production
    6. Album Packaging/Visual Representation

    An effective review will include both objecting and subjective (personal)


    reflection. At the conclusion of the review, please give the album a score out of
    10 (to one decimal place).

    Be prepared to present your review to the class and play 2-3 examples from
    the album as a part of your presentation.

    GRADING:
    Reviews will be graded on the following criteria:
    1. Completeness of the assignment
    2. Adhesion to format
    3. Inclusion of personal reflection
    4. Effectiveness of presentation
