Title of Presentation: State Of the Nation Address 2019

Concept/Ideas Presented: Our country has become one of the most corrupt and crime rated country.
President Duterte laboured to present his administration’s accomplishments and what he wants in his
term’s remaining three years which is ideally the objective of the SONA in the first place.

Brief Sumarry: President Duterte stated his goal of making lives of the Filipino people comfortable
which remains to be seen at the end of his term. It is always good to hear a leader sharing his vision
for the country.

Reflection:

On- Philippines now a days are in a state where corruptions and crimes are everywhere. President
Rodrigo Roa Duterte was able to lessen the issues regarding to drugs yet other crimes are still
present. According to President Duterte, "I have identified the enemy, who dumped as in the
quagmire we are in. I have met the enemy face to face. And sadly the enemy is us. We are our own
tomentors". We are suffering a lot of matters and troubles and yet continue to commit immorality,
look who suffers? Its authentic that our enemies are ourselves. Its not an excuse just because we are
not on higher positions we dont have the power to help but even following rules and laws is one of
the most sufficient answer to our cases then probably we can create something better.

In- I felt bad about the happenings in our country now. People tend to be aware but stayed silent and
did nothing but complain. We have to help and make a move.

About- Actions should be done not just to avoid the crime and corruption but also to lessen it since
we are now facing it. We must start having disciplines and do such actions, implement and follow
rules and laws.

Reaction:

Your own perspective: The things we are facing right now is a serious matter because these might be
the reason for the great damage to our country and the loss of economy. We must take these things
as a reminder that crimes and corruption ruins everything in our country and we may suffer from
severe struggles.

Other's point of view: If I were those other people, I would probably start to recognize and be aware
of the cases we are facing and encourage everyone to be united as one and help our country run
better.

Presentor's point of view: " I have resolved that no matter how long it takes, the fight against Illegal
drugs will continue because that is the root cause of so much evil and so much suffering " - PRRD.
President Duterte invades the eagerness to change our country to a better one, he wanted to fulfill all
the good plans he had set before his first term started. He wanted to spread the fact that we can get
through this if we will discipline ourselves and acknowledge the happenings in our surrounding.
