Project Abstract
RISK IT Team provides 24*7 Infrastructure support through providing services for infrastructure,
Applications and facilitates health checks across UBS's global business groups such as Investment
Banking and Wealth Management.
Legal compliance is the process or procedure to ensure that an organization follows relevant laws,
regulations and business rules. The definition of legal compliance, especially in the context of
corporate legal departments, has recently been expanded to include understanding and adhering
to ethical codes within entire professions, as well. There are two requirements for an enterprise to
be compliant with the law, first its policies need to be consistent with the law. Second, its policies
need to be complete with respect to the law. The role of legal compliance has also been expanded
to include self-monitoring the non-governed behavior with industries and corporations that could
lead to workplace indiscretions.
Primary Responsibilities
Handling the most critical application on Actimize, a case management tool to all the compliance
users use for surveillance monitoring purpose that occurs daily, weekly and on monthly basis.
Mainly involves in System Monitoring, Application Maintenance, Application Deployment, User
Support, Resolving Issues and Reporting in PRODUCTION Environments.
Supporting critical applications like A-Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk, CREATION and MARGIN.
Taking care of various ETL data load activities through Informatica & Autosys batch/jobs.
Continuously improve the process and service delivery.
Monitoring Autosys/Cron jobs and making sure the feeds are getting loaded successfully
to generate the reports.
Investigating and raising the repetitive issues to Development team to fix them.
Investigating and resolving issues, ranging from proactively identified issues, such as technical
issues identified through checks, application functionality issues, and user requests and faults.
Maintaining the servers responsible for handling transactions related to trading.
Investigation and analysis of validating incoming/outgoing data using ORACLE database, packages
and examining data load scripts and performing checks at the database level.
In-depth analysis of trade flow breaks and logics applied upon them for margining process.
Coordinating with different teams to resolve any issues that arise related to server configurations
or data load jobs.
Planning, coordinating, scheduling, implementing, and deploying releases on infra on Production
and development infra through established procedures.
Performing application health checks (sanity) on daily, weekly basis and post releases.
Achievements
Received “THE CUSTOMER CHAMPION” award as part of CIS salutation.
ITIL V3 certified.
