PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND USE

R.C.-2100 is an all-organic blend of anti scalant and polymeric dispersants to provide excellent control
over mineral foulants in industrial evaporative cooling water systems. Besides preventing scale formation
and deposition, it also helps remove existing scales, when used under specified conditions. It exhibits
excellent control over iron fouling. When used along with corrosion inhibitors from the R.C.-2100 series
like R.C.-2100, it affords excellent synergy for total control over corrosion; scaling and non-biological
fouling Water treated with R.C.-2100 is safe to discharge in effluent without any pollution problems.

APPLICATION AND DOSAG

R.C.-2100 exhibits ant scaling properties by threshold inhibition, crystal distortion and sequestration.
The effective dose level depends on various factors like hardness, pH, temperature, fouling potential,
other inhibitors used And system specifics. It is recommended. For use up to 800-ppm total hardness (as
CaCO3) in the system for best results A feed level of 50 to 200 ppm should suffice in most cases. R.C.
Representative will help you select the most optimum dosage for your system. It is non-toxic and non-
polluting at use levels. R.C.-2100 must be fed continuously to ensure that recommended levels of
residuals are maintained at all times. The product can be fed neat from the container or with dosing
equipment using non-corrosive components like PP, PE, PVC or Teflon. Our field experts will help you

R.C.-2301 provides positive alkalinity control to open recalculating systems while avoiding the hazards
associate with the handling of strong liquid acids. R.C.-2301 is a highly soluble liquid and can be dosed
continuously or intermittently as required .It exhibits excellent control over alkalinity. When used along
with corrosion inhibitors from the series like R.C.-2301, it affords excellent synergy for total control over
corrosion; scaling and non-biological fouling Water treated with R.C. -2301 is safe to discharge in
effluent without any pollution problems.

APPLICATION AND DOSAGE
R.C.-2301 Exhibits good alkalinity control and pH stabilization. The effective dose level depends on

recommended. Approximately 25-100 ppm of R.C.-2301 is required for each part of alkalinity to be
neutralized in the makeup water. R.C. -2301 should be dosed in the cooling tower sump by dripping
R.C.-2301 representative will help you to select the most optimum dosage for your system. It is non-
toxic and non-polluting at use levels. R.C.-2301 must be fed continuously to ensure that recommended
levels of pH maintained at all times. The product can be fed neat from the container or with dosing

OXYDIGING BIOCIDE
DESCRIPTION AND USE

R.C.-2201 is a strong oxidizing biocide and is an extremely effective biocide for the control of bacteria,
fungi and algae in aqueous systems. It has been found to be particularly effective against nitrifying
bacteria, iron bacteria and anaerobic Sulphate reducing bacteria.

APPLICATIONS
R.C.-2201 can be advantageously used to control microbiological fouling in industrial cooling water
systems and process water of a number of industrial systems and materials subjected to deterioration by
microbiological action. Paper mill water system, oil well brines, drilling mud, paints, latex emulsions,
coating materials are amongst the various applications where microbiological activity could be controlled
by R.C.-2201The amount of R.C.-2201 required would depend on the type of systems, the nature and the
extent of microbiological contamination and the degree of control required. RC representative shall
advice the actual dose requirement for individual system.
FEEDING

R.C.-2201 can be directly fed from the container into the basin of the cooling water system or at any
other point where good mixing can be assured. No special feeding equipment is required.
HANDLING AND SAFETY
R.C.-2201 should be handled like any other industrial chemicals such as acid, alkali etc. The product
should be stored in cool, dry places away from direct sunlight, sources of moisture, heat etc. Protective
gears like goggles, gloves, safety shoes must be worn while handling the product. Avoid direct contact
with skin. In case of accidental splash, wash the affected part with plenty of fresh water and get
immediate medical attention.
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
R.C.-2201 (S)Is non-toxic and non-polluting at suggested dose levels. The constituents of R.C.-2201 are
completely biodegradable and can be safely discharged into any waste stream.

NON-OXYDIGING BIOCIDE
DESCRIPTION AND USE
R.C.-2204 is a highly active non-oxidizing Micro biocide for effective control of bacteria, fungi and algae in
industrial evaporative cooling water systems. It is also singularly effective against Sulphate reducing bacteria. Use
of R.C.-2204 also arrests the growth of nitrifying bacteria responsible for drop in pH of circulating water
contaminated with ammonia. The product under use level conditions gets consumed and degraded to non-toxic
elements and also gets stripped in the cooling tower, causing no harm to the environmental.
GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS

Appearance : Slightly hazy yellow liquid

Wt./ml : 0.9 to 1.0
pH : Alkaline
Solubility : Soluble in water
APPLICATION AND DOSAGE

The product is to be dosed neat in the cooling tower sump at a point where thorough mixing can be ensured. While
dosing the product care should be taken to shut the blow down and ensure a minimum contact time of about 8-12
hrs. For best results, It is advisable to give blow down after this contact time to remove the dead biomass from the
system. Effective dosage varies with system demand. Badly fouled systems will need higher dosage or precleaning.
Our representative will assist in selecting the right dose and frequency of addition for your plant. The product is not
recommended in potable water system. Other applications include paper mill water system, oil well brines, drilling
fluids, paints, latex emulsions and other similar areas where microbial problems are acute.

R.C.-2204 can be directly fed from the container into the basin of the cooling water system or at any other point
where good mixing can be ensured. No special feeding equipment is required.
HANDLING
R.C.-2204 may cause skin and eye irritation. It is harmful if taken internally. In case of contact, flush the affected
area with plenty of water. In case of prolonged contact, flush with plenty of water and get prompt medical attention.
In case of ingestion, induce vomiting by administering warm salt water or any other emetic and get medical
attention. Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly washed before reuse. Use of protective rubber gloves is
recommended during handling of R.C.-2204.
ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY
R.C.-2204 is toxic to fish. Do not use in potable water systems or where contamination of potable water can occur.
In cooling water systems, R.C.-2204 is slowly hydrolyzed to non-toxic products. Most of these products are
volatile and are stripped off from the system, thus posing no effluent problems.
