    SDE to DE Promotion -Filling up of Remaining Unfilled Vacancies of SC/STs from List - 8

    SEWABSNL CHQ receiving substantial SMS, WhatsApp Messages and Phone calls from our
    Executives in connection with the Inordinate delay and Unpredictability in issuing SDE to DE
    Promotion Orders to the remaining eligible Executives from List No 8. Some of the cases are still
    pending in List No 7 also due to the problems in the Assessment Sheet received from their Circle
    Office and some other reasons.

    SEWABSNL is an Exclusive and Only Platform for all the Employees of SC/ST Communities
    working in BSNL. As a recognised Association, SEWA alone can espouse, address and represent
    all the issues of SC/STs and thus We are working to the utmost satisfaction of our members.

    4725 Executives were Promoted as DE/AGM so for as on 20/7/2018. Out of 4725 Executives
    4111 are from OC. Considering 4725 as 100% we have shortfall in SC 250 and in ST 199. This is
    because of the vested interests, court cases and VC problems.

    Out of 4887 Sanctioned Post 4725 were filled up so for. Only 162 are to be filled up. Considering
    4887 as 100% we will have shortfall 274 in SC and 212 in ST. SC/ST Total shortfall to be filled up
    486. But available post only 162.

    Our Respected Director HR has given assurance to our SEWA CHQ to fill up All the posts of
    SC/STs as per Reservation roster after Additional posts created and sanctioned by Our CMD
    BSNL. SEWABSNL is Committed for the Legitimate rights of our society. We assure our
    remaining eligible members of List No 8 that we will definitely take all the intensive efforts to fill
    up all the eligible vacancies as per Reservation roster.

    With regard to CQ SDEs of List No 8, there is a problem due to the less qualifying service at the
    time of appearing JTO to SDE Competitive Exam. Affected Persons approached court Challenging
    the competitive Exam wrongly allowed with less qualifying service and court has given direction
    against the CQ Exam. Because of this administrative and legal problems, their Promotion from
    JTO to SDE is held in dormancy. We have already discussed the matter with the GM Pers twice.
    After deep study, We will try in depth to undo the knots and to get their Promotion.
