1 Election of Committee
Darryl Keane was agreed as Chair.
Treasurer agreed as Ryan Keane.
Social Secretary was agreed as Dave Ashley.
Kitty Millard was agreed as minute taker.
2 Welcome and Apologies
As noted above.
3 Treasurer’s Report
RK report that the aim is to have a balance of a minimum of
£500 to allow for a ‘buffer’ when purchasing tickets.

RK reported that tickets need to be paid for as soon as the

email request is sent due to the amount of money going out
of the branch bank and the cost of tickets; especially when it
is a large order. Some payments were made late and this did
cause an issue for previous games.
4 Membership Report
Membership ends at the end of September and will therefore
need to be renewed at that point (£10 fee).

It was also reported that anyone taking a ticket which was

ordered against another person’s name should be noted to
RK so he can update the ticket site.
5 Social – D Ashley
It was agreed that DA would take over the management of
the social media and website updates.
RK confirmed he would ensure the website is back up and
working.

 Social: It was agreed to look at organising an ‘Ale Trail’ day
out closer to Christmas. DA will look in to some dates for this.

Trophy Visit: The suggestion was made to look at Rawtenstall

Cricket Club to hold the event again. RK will make contact to
try and secure the trophies and a date.

RK reported he receives a lot of emails regarding

opportunities for signed kit and auctions from City in the
Community. He will forward the information when it comes in.

DK noted Maria and Paul have invited the branch to their pub
(R@d Lion) in Earby for a social night. DA will co-ordinate
dates for the visit.
6 Updates to the Constitution
DK reported the constitution has been updated due to it not
being changed for some time. All amendments have been
agreed at previous meetings.
No comments were agreed on the constitution and it was
agreed.
7 Venue
It was agreed the Hare and Hounds would become the
branches new venue for meetings and/or matches.
It was also suggested the Station in Helmshore could be used
for a venue near Rawtenstall.
8 Any Other Business
None.
9 Membership Renewal and Cards
Membership cards will be available for the next meeting.
10 Next Meeting
The date of the next meeting will be organised once DK
knows the membership cards are ready so that they can be
handed out at that meeting.
