How to convert to Islam

First of all ask these questions to yourself:

Do you believe Allah is the Only Creator of the whole

universe and He Alone should be worshipped and do you
accept Muhammad pbuh as the final messenger and slave of
Allah?
If YES proceed to the next question
If you were to convert,can you perform the 5 obligatory
prayers daily?
If YES proceed to the next question
If you were to convert,can you pay zakat/charity?
If YES
Then do not hesitate to surrender yourself to Allah The Almightty before it is too
late.

All you need to do is to pronounce the Shahadah correctly in Arabic then say it
again in any language that you can understand so that you know what you said in
Arabic.

Below are the steps of pronouncing the Shahadah

I testify there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify

Step by step descriptions

Ash-hadu [Ash-ha-du]

an laa (laa 2 seconds)[an-laa ]

ilahaa (haa, 2 seconds) [i-la-haa]

illa’Allah (the word Allah, l heavily pronounced) [il-laAl-lah]

Muhammadan [Mu-ham-ma-dan]

‘abduhu (‘ means ain, ‫ع‬.close your throat and pronounce the letter a)

Rasuluh (Ra is pronounced heavily like Ro) [Ra-su-luh]

After shahadah, perform Ghusl (complete bath) but before that you need
to perform ablution which is one part of the Ghusl (complete bath)

HOW TO PERFORM WUDOO/ABLUTION 
Step 1
Declare the intention that the act is for the purpose of worship
& purity. Start by saying: Bis-mil-lah (“In the Name of Allah”)
Step 2
Wash the hands up to the wrists, three times
Step 3
Rinse out the mouth with water, three times
Step 4
Cleanse the nostrils by sniffing water into them by the right
hands & then remove the water with left hand, three times.
Step 5
Wash the whole face three times with both hands,from the
top of the forehead to the bottom of the chin and from ear to
ear.
Step 6
Wash the right arm three times up to the elbow,and then do
the same with the left arm
Step 7
Wipe the whole head with a wet hand, once
Step 8
Wipe the inner sides of the ears with the forefingers and
their outer sides with the thumb. This should be done with
wet fingers.
Step 9
Wash the two feet up to the ankles, three times, beginning
with the right foot and then the left foot.

 HOW TO PERFORM GHUSL/COMPLETE BATH 
 

“The proper method of ghusl (ritual bath) involves the

following steps: (Please do not use any shampoo or soap.You
must use clean water only)
Step 1
Make the niyyah (intention) to perform ghusl for
purification.
Step 2
Wash your private parts thoroughly with water.
Step 3
Perform wudu’ (ablution) except for washing of your feet,
which you can do later while bathing the body.
Step 4
Wash the entire body, starting with your head and the right
side, followed by the left.
Step 5
It is preferred that the whole body be washed three times.
The minimum is once.
Having completed the above, you are considered eligible to
perform the salah (prayer).”
