1. PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION
STROMATOLYSER-3WP™ is a lytic solution intended for In Vitro White Blood Cell analysis on
designated Sysmex Automated Hematology Analyzers. It is provided as a cardboard cube with a 5-liter
plastic liner (SR-22) and box with 3-500 mL bottles (SRP-200A).

3. PHYSICAL DATA
Clear aqueous solution, slippery to the touch, easily foamed, slightly musty odor. Exact physical
properties of this solution have not been determined but should approximate water that is its principle
component.

5. REACTIVITY DATA
Stable solution, non-reactive.

6. HEALTH HAZARD DATA


Limited toxicity data available, ingestion of significant quantities may cause drowsiness, ataxia,
gastrointestinal disorders and diarrhea, mild irritant to eyes and mucous membranes. Wear gloves and
safety glasses or goggles and lab coat when changing reagent to avoid splash.

Suggested First Aid Procedures

ο Ingestion: Obtain medical attention. If patient is alert, dilute by drinking water.

ο Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Obtain medical attention.

ο Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area.

ο Eye Contact: Promptly wash eyes with water until all traces of irritation are removed. If irritation
persists obtain medical evaluation.

7. SPILLS LEAKS AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES

Wear gloves, safety goggles and a lab coat. Dike, contain and absorb the spill with neutral absorbent
material, place in a closed container for disposal. Dispose of waste in accordance with applicable local,
state and federal environmental regulations.

8. STORAGE AND SPECIAL INFORMATION

Store closed bottle at controlled room temperature away from direct sunlight to ensure product
performance.
