Introduction
The t-shirt design and printing industry has grown in these past years, heavy fashion trends in
form of personalized/CustomT-shirts, graphic T-shirts, antique T-shirt designs, and long
sleeve custom T-shirts. With top fashion brands across the globe accepting t-shirt printing,
the forthcoming outlook appears positive. The global market of custom T-shirt printing isin
early growth stage and is ready to offer strong growth opportunities, developing beyond its
earlystage to reach at peak market point during the forecast period 2017 - 2025. The global
market for custom t-shirt printing industry is expected to be of 686 billion INR (10bn $) Bn
by 2025 at a CAGR of 6.3% through the period of 2017 – 2025.

Custom-printed shirts are precisely targeted towards the younger population segment. One of
the main reasons behind the popularity among youth is that customized t-shirts bring out the
creativity hidden inside each teenager. Teenagers have the opportunity to choose each
component of their custom shirt which includes color, design, garment, logo etc., which
allows their creativity to take over as they design a t-shirt which matches their personality,
style, and attitude. Thus, every seller today knows that customers buy products that matches
their style, humor, and individuality.

While demand for custom print t-shirts in developed economies like North America and
Europe are expected to observe slow growth, making them reasonably lesser attractive
markets. Nevertheless, crowd of investments in development of printing technologies is
expected to offer the necessary push to market growth in these regions.
Asia is scheduled to remain the most attractive business destination for custom T-shirt
printing vendors. There ishuge growth and investment opportunities in developing
marketplaces like India and China. The expected growth opportunity is reflective of the high
usage of e-commerce and evolving fashion awareness among consumers in these countries.

Rationale of the study


The purpose of the study is to research on the sales and distribution is customer satisfaction
and the organisation and the steps taken for the development of the customers.
Research Methodology

Research methodology basically means the science of how the research is conducted. It is one
of the way of solving a problem systematically and logically, helps understand the process
not just the product of research, but analyses the methods in addition to the information
obtained by them.

Research Design

A research design specifies the methods and procedures for conducting a particular study.
There are 3 categories of research design

1) The Exploratory research is basically the initial research on a hypothetical or theoretical


idea. An exploratory research focuses upon the discovery of ideas and is generally based on
secondary data.

2) A descriptive research is undertaken to explore and explain the researcher the additional
information of the particular topic or idea in more detailed form and expanding our
understanding.

3) AnExplanatory is undertaken when the researcher is interested in knowing the cause and
effect relationship between two or more variables.

DESCRIPTIVE research design is used during the study.


Source of Data

Primary Method: Data which is collected by the investigator himself/ herself for a specific
purpose. In primary data collection, we collect the data our- self using various methods such
as interviews and questionnaires. The key point here is that the data we collect is unique to us
and our research and, until we publish it, no one else has access to it.

Secondary Method: - It is a type of data which is collected by someone other than the user. This
information is collected by the following sources:-

Internal sources
 Statement of the profit and loss
 Balance sheets
 Sales figures
 Inventory records
 Previous marketing studies
If the secondary data is not sufficient which is gathered from the internal sources, then the
data is collected from the external sources. Some outside sources of data collection include:

External Sources

 Universities
 Government sources
 Foundations
 Media, including telecast, print and Internet
 Trade, business and expert affiliations
 Corporate filings etc.
