- Concerned with moving people and good efficiently, safety, and in a manner
conductive to vibrant community.
- The work scope is involves specifying, designing, constructing, and
maintaining transportation infrastructure.
o Highway engineering
- Is the process of design and construction of efficient and safe highways and
roads.
o Environmental Engineering
- Deals with the treatment of chemical, biological, and thermal waste, the
purification of water and air, and the remediation of contaminated site, due
to prior waste disposal or accidental contamination.
- Gathering of information on the environmental consequences of proposed
actions and the assessment of effects of proposed actions for the purpose of
assisting society and policy makers in the decision making process.
