GRADE 6 - WEEK 4, AUGUST.

1. THE BIG PICTURE- Physical Theatre - History of physical theatre, it’s purpose and
use.

2. Objectives - tuning in students to learn technique of mime, stomp, physical comedy


and masks.
3. Engagement- students will be asked to read the history of physical theatre provided
to them and fill in a questionnaire after that. Then the class will indulge in a detailed
discussion about physical theatre, it’s purpose and use.
4. stickability - Students will use this information they learn in future classes while
learning and performing various techniques of physical theatre. Majorly focusing on
mime and stomp.
5. Assessment - questionnaire will be given to make sure they have read and
understood the text. Final Assessment will be done at the end of the unit for physical
theatre.
