Chapter 7:

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was a German-born theoretical physicist who developed the theory of relativity, one
of the two pillars of modern physics His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of
science. He is best known to the general public for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2,
which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation". He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in
Physics "for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the
photoelectric effect” a pivotal step in the development of quantum theory. Albert Einstein serves as
my favourite scientist for some reasons. He is inspiring. Even though he failed his university entrance
exam, still, he managed to become successful. Albert Einstein was also a great musician that also made
me like him more because we have the same personality and that is we like music and we play
instruments. He won many awards and one of them is the Nobel Prize in Physics 1921 that served as
his greatest contribution. It was awarded to him for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially
for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect and it amazed me because even though he
doesn’t have a good memory, still, he won the prize. Albert Einstein’s achievements are inspiring. He
made some mistakes but he still continued to reach his dreams. Albert Einstein once said “ Anyone
who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”
