GSIS (Government Service Insurance System)

Role: GSIS is committed to provide social security and financial benefits to all
government employees and their qualified dependents, satisfy the non-life
insurance needs of the government, maintain and strengthen the viability of
the fund, and build an enduring partnership with its stakeholders.
Functions: GSIS helps the Filipino people that served the government
through financial aid as compensation for the loyalty to the nation.
Clients: The Filipino people that are in service to the government or those
that have retired from their service.
Statistics can help GSIS by knowing how much will the nation progress due to the help
of the people that are in the government. It can also relate to statistics in knowing how
much will be the aid from their help in the following years.

DTI (Department of Trade and Industry)


Role: According to the mandate of the Department of Industry, the agency
is the primary coordinative, promotive, facilitative, and regulatory arm of the
Philippine Government with the country's trade, industry, and investment
activities. The end goal is to grow and expand Philippine trade and industry
as the means to generate jobs and raise incomes
Functions: DTI is the government agency responsible for the acceleration
and sustenance of the economic growth of the country. Also they create
policies to further develop domestic and foreign trades.
Clients: Clients of DTI is any Filipino citizen who seeks employment
opportunities or those that want to operate businesses.
Statistics can help DTI to determine the economic status of the country such as the GDP
(Gross Domestic Product). Also they will need statistics to regulate prices of goods in
the market for the consumers to get the best value for money. Lastly, it will help them
generate more jobs and income opportunities to the Filipino people.

DOH (Department of Health)


Role: The Department of Health (DOH) is the principal health agency in the
Philippines. It is responsible for ensuring access to basic public health
services to all Filipinos through the provision of quality health care and
regulation of providers of health goods and services.
Functions: The DOH focuses on issuing proper medical care and issuing
other health related needs for the Filipino people.
Clients: The clients of the DOH are Philippine citizens that are in need for
medical care and people that are qualified to be treated with free medical
assistance.
The relevance of statistics for the DOH is for keeping track of patients, medical supplies, and
etc. Statistics is used to keep track on the status of the patients, number of patients, and even
the number of people who have a certain illness or disease. Statistics is also important to keep
track of medical supplies to regularly restock them and to observe and maintain the efficiency of
equipment and facilities.
