January-March and April-June 2016 were brought out under the Chairmanship of Prof VinayshilGautamand July-
September and October-December, 2016 were brought out underDrKiranmaiDuttPandaliya. There were in all 33 articles
including Book Reviews, besides the signed editorials.
Advertisements are an important source of revenue for a Journal. Efforts are, therefore, being made to get more
advertisements by DrKiranmaiDutt, Chairperson, Editorial Board and the Director, ISTD. However, more advertisements
are needed to make the Journal self-supporting since the number of paid subscribers is very small.
The National Headquarter seeks the kind help and cooperation of the Chapters in identifying new subscribers and
securing advertisements for the Journal from organizations in their domain. Apart from generating some income for ISTD
through advertisements, addition of subscribers will help increase the visibility of ISTD.

Financial Position: The chapter has so far generated a cumulative surplus of Rs.26,51,815/-mainly during 2010-2013 for
the sole purpose of purchasing land/ofce premise. This surplus amount includes FDRs of Rs.24,23,114, outstanding
amount with (1) Adhoc Committee 2009-Mr C P Jain (Rs.30,620), (2) Mr APS Chandi (Rs.2,380) and (3) TDS receivable
from NO (Rs.96,661), Besides, our claim of over Rs.1 lakh towards TDS against sponsorships/delegate fees from
different organizations for National HR Conclave (26-27 Jan.2013) is also pending with National Ofce. We have been
consistently pursuing with NO for sl.nos. 1 &3.Since there was no response from NO, despite our repeated reminders, the
matter was taken up in NC on 29th March 2014 and EC on 12th April 2014, 15th May 2014, 20th Feb. 2015 as the
responsibility lies with NO for wrongly appointing Dr B P Bhatnagar, Mr CP Jain&Mr R S Dhakar as AdhocChairman,
Secretary& Treasurerrespectively and not allowing the democratically elected committee (2007-08) to function.Despite
all these, NO is not refunding the amount but asked Udaipur Chapter to lodge FIR against the Adhoc Committee appointed
by NHQ during 2008-09.
Purchase of Land/Ofce Premise: The Committee consisting of S/Shri P S Solanki, Kanti Saini, DevershiVyas,
ArunMundot, Dr V Narendran and Sunny George is making all possible efforts by exploring different options including
purchase of land/at by visiting no. of locations. In the meeting held at SCTM, Mr. ArunMundot suggested different
options like (1) approaching UIT for allotment of land as ISTD being NGO (2) alternatively, possibility of purchasing
suitable space in his proposed multi-storied campus shortly coming up near 100 ft road and the same can positively be
rented to run classes to generate regular income for the chapter.
For UIT plot allotment, Mr. Kanti Saini took the lead/initiative and prepared the formal application along with all the required
documents. S/Shri P S Solanki, Kanti Saini, Sunny George and Dr V Narendran visited UIT ofce and met the concerned
staffto ensure correctness of the application and documents. The application was formally submitted to UIT. The team
has also met the Secretary and other concerned authorities in this regard, but no progress so far.
Support from NO: NHQ approved Rs.15 lakh for the purpose. Since due to huge increase in property cost, we have
requested the National President to increase the grant-in-aid/loan to atleast Rs.25 lakh. As a result of our consistent
follow up, the NC meeting held at Kolkata on 24 Mar 2017 increased the grant-in-adi/loan to Rs.30 lakh.
