1. Does using a menstrual cup affect virginity?

Answer: No. You only lose your virginity if you have sex. According to oxford dicitionary virginty
is the state of never having had sexual intercourse. The most common understanding of “being
a virgin” is an intact hymen. The hymen is a membrane that partially covers the vagina. The
hymen can look very different from person to person. Some area born with a smaller hymen an
some are even born without a hymen. Using menstrual cup can interfere with the hymen as can
a tampon. The hymen can also break from doing yoga, dancing, and riding a bike. We can
realize that this category is created by our culture, not an absolute. No one can define virginity
completely, but we do know that society and the concept of virginity have added much more to
it than a membrane in the vagina.
2. What are the symptoms of TSS?
Answer: First a sudden high fever, and dizziness when changing from a sitting a position to
standing, which is caused by hypotension, or sudden low blood pressure. Other symptomps
include nausea and vomiting, and a rash resembling a sunburn, particulary on your palms and
the soles of your feet, as well as muscle aches, confussion and headache. If you experience any
of these, stop using tampons or mesntrual cups and call your doctor immediately
3. What are the precautions of TSS?
Answer:
a. use the lowest-absorbency tampon you can. A good rule of thumb is to change your tampon
every 4 to 8 hours
b. consider the menstrual cup material. French study, S. Aureus was less likely to stick to cups
made from TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) than to those made from silicone. In addition do not
forget to washing your hands before inserting and using it for only about 6 hours at a time. We
can sterilizing the cup in boiling water between each use for 5 to 10 minutes.
