Description: QA Engineer V for the VFA Engineering Team

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop automation by writing components, tools and scripts to automate test cases

 Automate and execute functional UI/API end to end tests as well as integration tests

 Create test documentation to support individual/group testing efforts

 Perform and design testing protocols to ensure that the product is fully tested.

 Participate in an Engineering team that is responsible for developing quality software.

 Participate and mentor QA Engineers within the team to ensure quality standards are met.

 Analyze test results to determine where bugs exist and where tests need improvement

QUALIFICATION/CHARACTERISTICS:
Required:

 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or Physics majors or graduation from a
Technical School.

 2+ Years of Software Quality Assurance Experience

o UI/API Testing

o .NET, Java-Based Testing Environments

o Knowledge on Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SQL

o Automated Testing Using Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.

 3+ Years of Programming Experience (C#, Java, Ruby, Python)

 Strong knowledge on QA Industry Best Practices

 Ability to use metrics/data to assess testing needs of a product

 Good communication and interpersonal skills.

 Self-reliant and motivated self-starter.

  Detail oriented.

 People Management

Desired:

 Experience in Agile Development Methodologies

 Experience in Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI/CD) Processes and Tools
