During the Flag Ceremony dated June 8, 2008, III- Aquino students were in
unison in singing the Philippine National Anthem. They inculcate in their minds the value of
singing the Philippine National Anthem properly. Not all of them were present during the flag
ceremony because some of them were late.

them who was Jaquelyn Catugal led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. The rest of
the students focused their attention during the flag ceremony.

During the Flag Ceremony dated July 23, 2009, I- Balagtas students were in
harmony in singing the Philippine National Anthem. They indoctrinate in their minds the
importance of singing the Philippine National Anthem appropriately. Not all of them were
present during the flag ceremony because some of them were not on time.

One of them who was Roien Yvonne Meode led the singing of the Philippine National Anthem.
The rest of the students focused their concentration throughout the flag observance.

While some are crazy having imported and state side items, some are also patronizing
their own products. I had the chance to talk with Mary Jean Lampong about what she likes about
Philippine products.

Eufemia: Hi, Jean.


Jean: Hi, Ma’am.
Eufemia: I would ask you if you like Philippine made products. Is it fine to have a short
conversation with you?
Jean: Of course, Ma’am. I find them interesting. In fact most of my things are Philippine
made, from my bags, clothes, food and many others.
Eufemia: Oh, then how do you find them?
Jean: Well, I find them durable and good-looking. It’s something you will carry with pride.
It’s good to keep such items because you can also help boost our economy. Even
though I’m also hoping to have imported things, I will first support Philippine made
items.
Eufemia: That’s good to hear. Keep that thing up and thank you for your time with me.
Jean: My pleasure Ma’am.

their own goods. I had the opportunity to converse with Kathleen Shophie Lim in relation to
what she likes about Philippine products.

Adette: Hi, Kath.


Kath: Hi, Ma’am.
Adette: I would to ask you if you like Philippine made products. Is it fine to have a short talk
with you?
Kath: Of course, Ma’am. I find them attention-grabbing. In fact most of my things are
Philippine made, from my bags, clothes, food and many others.
Adette: Really? So what can you say about them?
Kath: Well, I find them quality wise. It’s something you can be proud of. Though I’m also
wishing to have imported things, but I will first prop up Philippine made items.
Adette: That’s good to listen to. Keep it up Kath. Thank you for sharing your time with me.

Beatriz: Of course, Ma’am. I find them mesmerizing. In fact most of my possessions are

Ma’am Perly: Oh, then how do you find them?
Beatriz: Well, I find them long-lasting and gorgeous. It’s something you will carry with pride.
Its good keep such items because you can also help make improve our economy. Even
though I’m also optimistic to have imported things, I will first uphold Philippine made
stuff.

Almost all of the students were all eyes on the Philippine made products they saw. They
uttered words of appreciation. Some said that they still prefer imported goods because of the
brand but others said that Philippine made items are more durable and cheap compared to
imported ones. It’s the quality not the price that matters to Philippine made item lovers. You can
help the country augment its economy. Be nationalistic.
