A Place To Grow has been providing afterschool care to Stratton School families since 1992

and we are thrilled to be starting another school year!

We are currently licensed for 143 children per day and offer care each day afterschool until
6:00 PM as well as early release days, school vacation weeks and additional days that school
may not be open (calendar with specific days is available).
Our program is designed to provide school age children with a fun, caring and interesting
place to spend their afternoon. Our activities, both structured and spontaneous, support all
areas of development with an emphasis on the Arts, positive social skills and lots of time to
play! Our talented and dedicated teachers take time to plan developmentally appropriate
curriculum ranging from building projects, group games, STEM, art, drama and sports.
We want children to feel welcome, supported and respected within the A Place To Grow
community. When children arrive at the end of their busy day, we greet them, have a snack
waiting and are ready to hear about their day. We will be sure to update parents daily with
information about their time at afterschool and will also send pictures and lesson plans
through our iPAD app called “Kaymbu”.
