4. Find the sum of all odd natural nos. from 1 to 150.
5. An obtuse angle of a rhombus is greater than twice the acute angle by 300. Find the
measure of each angle.
6. Find n if the general term of the following sequence is 68.

Q.3 Solve any 3 of the follo wing. (9)


1. Solve by cramers rule : α x + β y = 1 ; βx + αy = 1and state the relation between x and y.
2. If S31 = 186 , find T16.
3. Find the value of k if the given equation 4x2 – 3kx + 1 = 0 has real and equal roots.
4. If 11 times 11th term is equal to 3 times the 3rd term , then show that 14th term is zero.
5. There are 3 men and 2 women . a committee of two is to be formed , find the probability
of events that committee contains (i) at least 1 women (ii) at most 2 men.

Q.4 Solve any 2 of the following. (8)


1. Find the three terms in an A.P whose sums is -3 and the product of their cubes is 512.
2. A man tosses a coin three times , assuming head as Rs. 2 and tail as Rs. 5 , find the
probability of getting (i) odd number as sum (ii) sum of total divisible by 4.
3. If sum of the roots of the Q.E ax2 +bx +c = 0 is equal to the sum of the squares of their
reciprocal then prove that 2a2c = c2 + b2a

1. Draw the graphs representing the equations 2x = y + 2 and 4x + 3y = 24on the same
graph paper. Find the area of the triangle formed by these lines and X – axis.
2. For the following A.P , find the first n for which Tn is negative.
