Proposal for Global Virtual Opportunities
Introduction
Webster Technical Services (“WTS”) is pleased to present the following proposal to Global Virtual Opportunities (“GVO”)
as a result of an initial discussion between these (2) two parties:
Webster Technical Services
Global Virtual Opportunities (“Client”).
This statement of work serves to provide a project based service agreement between GVO and WTS. Specifically, this
project will augment core networking services in a production environment. This project will consist of three phases:
Discovery, Implementation, and Support.
Discovery - The initial discovery phase involves data gathering, information exchange, and a health check of the
current production deployment. Results from this first phase will include a detailed design that will propel the follow-on
Implementation and Support phases.
Implementation - This phase will consist of the installation, configuration, and deployment in GVO’s production.
This environment is online and actively serving a client base. The client will establish the proper working time to perform
the necessary work.
Support - This phase will involve a complete deployment, the management of a select set of systems for a
predetermined period of time, and the support of a limited set of capabilities.
Given WTS's current understanding of GVO’s environment and needs, at this time we would estimate an enterprise
deployment to be approximately 80-100 hours of effort.
Objective
The purpose of this document is to identify and document the opportunities for improvement of the core
infrastructure services at Global Virtual Opportunities. The five key points (listed in order of priority) of emphasis
uncovered during dialogue was:
1. Firewall Protection (estimated - 10 hours)
a. NATing
b. IPS \ IDS
2. Core 6509 redundancy (estimated - 8 hours)
3. VLAN Segmentation (estimated - 10 hours)
4. Level set ISO versions [estimated - (13)3 hours per device]
5. Remote Management (estimated - 8 hours)
a. VPN Access
i. Internal IT staff
ii. Customer facing
b. Server Management (will require additional hours to perform)
i. DELL – DRAC
ii. iLO – HP
Scope
The scope of this engagement is limited to the items discussed during the initial meeting on Wednesday, April 21 st of
2010. At which time we assessed a high level network topology design session should be completed to draft tangible
requirements and solution to this project.

WTS will schedule the physical and personnel resources as soon as we have received acceptance of this arrangement.
In addition to paying the charges invoiced by WTS, GVO agrees to pay amounts equal to any applicable taxes resulting
from Services provided under this Agreement including, without limitation, all sales and use tax.
WTS shall manage all such expense items with pre-approval of client through Change Management process described
earlier in this SOW. All invoices for expenses will be issued semi-monthly for expenses incurred in prior month.
Key Assumptions
The overall scope and related work estimates for this engagement were developed based on the following assumptions.
Material changes to these assumptions may impact the estimated effort and cost associated with completing the work.
The customer does not have a current SMARTNET contract. They will assume the responsibility for attaining a
contract and any unsupported hardware.
The in-place hardware will be utilized where possible. If needed, additional Cisco hardware will be procured for
operation.
The scope, approach, and deliverables for this initiative are based on an initial understanding of the scope of
work.
Information provided in GVO documents and statements prior to this Statement of Work is assumed to be an
accurate representation of the respective subject matter.
The total cost assumes that WTS resources are reasonably used... Significant schedule delays could impact the
estimated hours provided.
Some work items will be more accurately defined during the engagement. Should we encounter a deviation
from the total estimated schedule or effort, as a result of the discovery, a change order will be presented for
approval prior to commencement of the associated work.
GVO understands the success of this project is dependent upon the participation of GVO staff. Participation
levels will be communicated during the engagement.
GVO will review interim and final deliverables and report acceptance or discrepancy to the WTS team within one
week of submission of deliverables. The total cost assumes a single revision for document based deliverables as
part of the project.
As required for the purposes of this engagement it is assumed that the WTS team will assist GVO in determining
hardware and software requirements to fulfill the objectives of the project. Hardware and software
requirements will be provided during the initial phase of the project. GVO will be responsible for purchasing all
required equipment.
The GVO key stakeholders will be readily accessible for key decision making throughout the course of the
initiative.
The WTS team may perform portions of the work either on site or off site, depending on the nature of each task.
Hardware and software costs which may be required to complete this engagement are not included in this
Statement of Work.
All professional project expenses will be reimbursed as incurred. Expenses include, but are not limited to,
airfare, mileage, travel accommodations, shipping, document production, etc.
GVO will be responsible for the purchase of any third party tool(s) recommended by WTS.

accepted by WTS or by a written modification signed by both parties. If Client makes any changes or proposes additional
terms to those contained herein or submits an acceptance on a different form, such changes, additional terms or
alternative proposal form shall be treated as a proposal for an addition to or modification of this proposal and shall not
become a part of the parties’ agreement unless and until accepted by in writing by WTS.
