in this project has been taken from standard texts and authentic sources from the first and second
hand sources. Though the subject matter is very exhaustive, only significant aspects in this
project have been primarily focused and highlighted.

SCOPE OF PROJECT REPORT

Though this project report the researcher had examined different aspects of external commercial
borrowing in India. Starting with, An elaborated explain of external commercial borrowing, the
researcher has discussed means of getting external commercial borrowing and also the process of
getting external commercial borrowing. Comparison of external commercial borrowing with
other debt rising instruments along with merits and demerits of external commercial borrowing
has been made. Current framework of external commercial borrowing as provided by RBI and
other governing institutions has been analytically laid down under this report. The report is
concluded by giving an personal opinion as to the future outlook of external commercial
borrowing.
