GENDER EQUALITY

In bible, Mary made a set human, a man and woman.After so many years a set of human was
become a big population.In a previous time,Philippines was prevailing that a man can lead and a
woman was a shadow of a man.And in the present year many changes have been happened. In
the surroundings, clothing of people,the way to communicate each other,religion,culture,
different person's feelings or personality and having technology made by human. Way back the
history of the Philippine President , everyone that becomes a president was a man. Because they
believe women cannot do what the man does.We can see now the inequality of a man and
woman. But former President Corazon Aquino breaks the belief of all people that women
cannot do what the man does.She become a first woman president of the Philippines,she
advocate democracy. She freed our country to the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos.

Now , in modern world discriminaton is widespread. A man abused his wife, people discriminate
a Lesbian, Gay, bisexual, Transgender (LGBT).While the world has achieved progress towards
gender equality and women's empowerment under the Millenial Development Goals(including
equal access to primary education between girls and boys), women and girls continue to suffer
discrimination and violence in every part of the world. Gender equality is not only a fundamental
human rights ,but a necessary foundation for peaceful,prosperous,and suitainable world.
