A. CORRIGENDA OF SCHEDULE OF RATES – 2014

1. The FORMAT – A (Page 217 of SOR 2014) to evaluate Issue Rate and Cost at Site of bitumen /
CRMB / bituminous emulsion issued by the Department is replaced by the following :

FORMAT – A
Format for analysis of rates of Bitumen / Bitumen Emulsion / CRMB supplied by Department
Step - 1 Basic Cost of materials including all taxes at the nearest source of the manufacturer as per Table I – 2. ` (A)
Step – 2 Necessary cost for loading, unloading & stacking. ` (B)
Step – 3 Necessary carriage cost from source of the manufacturer to different departmental godowns. ` (C)
(Vide Appendix–I)
Step – 4 Add storage charge for storing the materials at departmental godowns / stackyard ( @ 1% of (A)) ` (D)
Departmental Issue Rate = (A) + (B) + (C) + (D) ` (E)
Step – 5 Add loading, unloading and carriage charges from departmental godowns / stackyards to the work site. ` (F)
Step – 6 Deduct cost of container (Vide Note I-3, Table I-2) ` (G)
(in case of packed bitumen, CRMB or bituminous emulsion is considered to be used)
Rate of Material at Site = (E) + (F) – (G) = ` (H)

Deduct Contractor’s Profit already included in the analysis of the rate of the item (A) X 1/10 = ` (I)
Rate of Bitumen to be added to the item rate (H) - (I) = ` (J)

Note : 1 Unchanged.
Note : 2 The Total marked J is the net cost of the bitumen to be added to the item concerned to arrive at the complete rate of the ite m.

2. The FORMAT – D Case-(I) & Case-(II) (Page 218 of SOR 2014) to evaluate Issue Rate and Cost
at Site of Cement issued by the Department is replaced by the following :
FORMAT – D
Format for analysis of rate of items involving use of cement supplied by Department.
CASE-( I ): For items , Where costs of cement is to be included in the item rate :-
Step – 1 Rate of item as per relevant section of this Schedule. ` (A)
Step – 2 Add : Cost of cement = (Quantity of cement) x (Issue rate of cement vide Item no. 1, column – 4, Table I ` (B)
– 1 of the Schedule of Rates, 2014.).
Note: The quantity of cement shall be as per Section – 3 of this schedule of rates.
Step – 3 Deduct Contractor’s Profit already included in the analysis of the rate of the item= (B) X 1/10 = `( C )
Final rate of item = (A) - (C) = (D)

CASE-( II ) : For items , where costs of cement is already included to the item rate to arrive at the complete cost::

Step - 1 Rate of item as per relevant section of this Schedule. ` (A)

Step -2 Deduct Contractor’s Profit included in the analysis of the rate of the item =Quantity of Cement (Issue Rate ` (B)
of cement) X 1/10 =

3. The FORMAT – F (Page 219 of SOR 2014) to evaluate Issue Rate and Cost at Site of Steel issued by the
Department is replaced by the following : FORMAT – F
Format for analysis of rate of items involving use of Steel supplied by Department.
For items, where costs of steel is to be included in the item rate to arrive at the complete cost :

Step – 1 Rate of item as per relevant section of this Schedule. (A)

Step – 2 Add : Cost of Steel = (Quantity of Steel) x (Issue rate of Steel vide Item no. 2, column – 4, Table I (B)
– 1 of the Schedule of Rates, 2014.).
Step – 3 Add : Cost of carriage of from departmental go-down to the site of work including loading and (C)
unloading .
Step – 4 Deduct Contractor’s Profit already included in the analysis of the rate of the item = Quantity of

B. ADDENDA OF SCHEDULE OF RATES - 2014
