Entrepreneurial Venture Project

January - February 2019

Projects are to be prepared and presented by the assigned groups.

Definition

Select and define a new entrepreneurial venture of your choosing. The venture
can be in any sector, and should have unique defining qualities.

Requirements

Each group will present their project with a Ppt and write a project report in a
Word document of between 1,000 and 1,500 words.

The report and Ppt should contain the following:

1. Definition and description of the project

2. Elements of the following stages
a. Concept stage
b. Start up
c. Full operations
3. A thorough qualitative description of each stage, and as many quantitative
details as you can include

You should include a description of the resources the venture will require,
including:

o Funding
o Physical, intellectual, personnel and other resources

The report and Ppt should also include

o The time period of the Concept and Start up stages

o The time to break-even point
o An estimate of the profitability of the enterprise once it has reached
steady-state operations
o A description of the uniqueness and distinctiveness of the venture
o The feasibility of the project

Each group will be required to make a 15 minute presentation, with a Ppt.

After the presentations, each group will submit their document and Ppt for
evaluation.

All groups should avoid any plagiarism, either between groups or from any
outside sources. Project reports with plagiarised material will either have marks
deducted or in serious cases, the project will be disqualified.
