Conclusion

Simulink is a graphical extension to MATLAB for modeling

and simulation of systems. In Simulink, systems are drawn on
screen as block diagrams. Many elements of block diagrams are
available, such as transfer functions, summing junctions,
etc., as well as virtual input and output devices such as
function generators and oscilloscopes. These virtual devices
will allow you to perform simulations of the models you will
build. Simulink is integrated with MATLAB and data can be
easily transferred between the
programs.
In this laboratory we tried to apply Simulink to create
circuit diagram of FSK modulation and simulate the system.
In practice, many FSK transmitters use only a single
oscillator, and the process of switching to a different
frequency at the beginning of each symbol period preserves the
phase. The elimination of discontinuities in the phase (and
therefore elimination of sudden changes in amplitude) reduces
sideband power, reducing interference with neighboring
channels.

Observation

Based on what we have observed in using this Simulink at

first, it's kind of lagging and a bit delayed when opening the
application. During the activity we studied each function of
simulink because it's really tough. We don't really master
enough the usage of each programs and functionality of the app
itself but we have some knowledge about it because we used it
in the recent subjects.
With this activity, we have given the task to make
simulation on FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) Modulation using
SimuLink and MATLAB Application. Simulink is really a Good
Application for students and Professionals to transmit and
make representations on given task about communications.
Likewise, here in this activity,
That's why there is the switch and 2 sine waves to change the
carrier frequency. In principle FSK can be implemented by
using completely independent free-running oscillators, and
switching between discontinuities in the transmitted signal.
Using the MUX the blue line will appear in order to see
the 0 and 1 easily. The space or the zero voltage indicates
the 0 and the +A indicates the 1. FSK transmitters use only a
single oscillator, and the process of switching to a different
frequency at the beginning of each symbol period preserves the
phase. The elimination of discontinuities in the phase (and
therefore elimination of sudden changes in amplitude) reduces
sideband power, reducing interference with neighboring
channels.
