Call to Worship
Leader: O God, you summon the day to dawn,
you teach the morning to waken the earth.
All: Great is your name.
Great is your love.

Leader: For you the valleys shall sing for joy,


the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
All: Great is your name.
Great is your love.

Leader: For you the rulers of the earth shall bow,


the poor and persecuted shall shout for joy.
Blessing
All: Great is your name.
Leader: May God bless us; Great is your love.
May God keep us in the Spirit’s care
and guide our lives with love. Leader: Your love and mercy shall last forever,
All: May Christ’s warm welcome fresh as the morning, sure as the sunrise.
Shine from our hearts All: Great is your name.
And Christ’s own peace prevail. Great is your love.
Through this and every day. Amen.

God in your mercy,

All: Catch me in my anxious scurrying, Lord,
Left: Lord, do not deal with us according to our sins. and hold me in this Lenten season:
Let the prisoners' sighing come before you; Hold my feet to the fire of your grace
with your great power free those doomed to death. and make me attentive to my mortality
That I may begin to die now
Right: Then we, your people and the sheep of your pasture, To those things that keep me
will give thanks to you forever; From living with you
through all generations we will declare your praise. And with my neighbors on this earth;
