Inhalation Unlikely route of exposure as the product does not contain volatile substances. If throat
irritation or coughing persists, proceed as follows. Get medical attention. Show this Safety
Data Sheet to the medical personnel. Rinse nose and mouth with water.
Ingestion Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Give plenty of water to drink. Get medical attention. Show
this Safety Data Sheet to the medical personnel.
Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing and rinse skin thoroughly with water. Continue to rinse until
pain disappears. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues. Show this Safety Data
Sheet to the medical personnel. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing. Chemical burns must be treated by a
physician.

Eye contact Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Remove any contact lenses and open eyelids wide

Methods for cleaning up For waste disposal, see Section 13. Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this
safety data sheet. Stop leak if possible without risk. Avoid generation and spreading of dust.
Remove spillage with vacuum cleaner. If not possible, collect spillage with shovel, broom or
the like. Collect and place in suitable waste disposal containers and seal securely. Containers
with collected spillage must be properly labelled with correct contents and hazard symbol.

Protective equipment
Appropriate engineering Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation. Observe any occupational exposure
controls limits for the product or ingredients.
Eye/face protection The following protection should be worn: Chemical splash goggles.
Hand protection Use protective gloves. Impermeable material. The most suitable glove should be chosen in
consultation with the glove supplier/manufacturer, who can provide information about the
breakthrough time of the glove material. It is recommended that gloves are made of the
following material: Polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Butyl rubber. Rubber (natural, latex). Nitrile
rubber.

Other skin and body AVOID ALL SKIN AND RESPIRATORY CONTACT! Provide eyewash station and safety
protection shower. Wear apron or protective clothing in case of contact.
Hygiene measures Use engineering controls to reduce air contamination to permissible exposure level. Provide
eyewash station. Do not smoke in work area. Wash hands at the end of each work shift and
before eating, smoking and using the toilet. Promptly remove any clothing that becomes
contaminated. Wash promptly with soap and water if skin becomes contaminated. Use
appropriate skin cream to prevent drying of skin. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Respiratory protection If ventilation is inadequate, suitable respiratory protection must be worn. Wear a respirator
fitted with the following cartridge: Particulate filter, type P2. Wear a respirator fitted with the
following cartridge: Gas filter, type B.

Inhalation Unlikely to be hazardous by inhalation because of the low vapour pressure of the product at
ambient temperature.
Ingestion May cause severe internal injury. Causes severe burns. May cause chemical burns in mouth,
oesophagus and stomach. Corrosive. Small amounts may cause serious damage.
Skin contact Causes severe burns. Corrosive. Prolonged contact causes serious tissue damage.
Eye contact This product is strongly corrosive. Immediate first aid is imperative.
Acute and chronic health This chemical can be hazardous when inhaled and/or touched. This product is corrosive. This
hazards product may cause skin and eye irritation. Prolonged contact may cause burns. May cause
severe internal injury. Vapour from this product may be hazardous by inhalation.
