1. What is the ecosystem portrayed in the movie?

The Ecosystem portrayed in the movie is The Forest Ecosystem, The Dessert Ecosystem, and
The Grassland Ecosystem. The Forest Ecosystem are the ecosystem in which an abundance of flora, or
plants, is seen so they have a big number of organisms which live in relatively small space. The Dessert
Ecosystem are located in regions that receive an annual rainfall less than 25 and due to the extremely
high temperature, low water availability and intense sunlight, fauna and flora are scarce and poorly
developed. The Grassland Ecosystem are mainly comprises grasses with a little number of tree and
shrubs.

2. List down all the organisms shown and identify their role in the ecosystem.

3. Identify the type of relationships and interactions happening in that ecosystem.

Competition and Predation is the type of relationships and interactions happening in that
ecosystem. It is when one organism eats another organism to obtain nutrients. The organism that is eaten
is called the prey good example of this is of a predation are owls that eat mice, and lions that eat
gazelles. Competition is when individuals or populations complete for the same resource and can occur
within or between species.

4. Determine the source of energy flowing in the ecosystem.

The source of energy flowing in that ecosystem is the sun it is the largest source of energy for an
ecosystem. Energy and Nutrients are passed around through the food chain, when one organism eats
another organism. Any energy remaining a dead organism is consumed by decomposers. Nutrients can
be cycled through an ecosystem but energy is simply lost over time.

5. What organism is at the bottom and at the top of the food web in that ecosystem?

The organism that is at the bottom of the food web in that ecosystem is insects and worms. The
organism that is at the top of the food web in that ecosystem is the Lion.
