Just in time for Fatherâ s Day, we name this pattern for our first Esty admin papa, Pete! We are so happy to
finally have the oft-requested basic menâ s t-shirt pattern for you, and we are also so happy to wish Pete a
big warm Congratulations for his beautiful Sidonie on their first Fatherâ s Day!!

Materials
Pete T-Shirt pattern, a bit of ribbing, an overlock machine or alternative

Step 1

Serge the shoulder seams at 5/8 inch (see related techniques).

Step 2

Shoulder.

Step 3

Sleeve Hem.

Step 4

Pin the sleeves to armholes; serge.

Step 5

Serge the sleeve hems. Turn up hems, and to secure either use a twin needle (see related techniques), or a
straight stictch with an elastic thread in the bobbin, or if you are a super lucky goose, your cover stitch
machine/the cover stitch option on your fancy overlock machine.

Step 6

Serge from the sleeve hems all the way down the side seams to the them.

Step 7

Serge the hem, and secure as you did the sleeve hems.

Serge the shoulder seams at 5/8
