The mean error for the new predictions of the inter-eruption times is 5.207 minutes, which is
less than half that of the old predictions that had a mean error of 10.802 minutes. The median
error for the new predictions of the inter-eruption times is 4.000, which is less than half that of
the old predictions that had a median error of 10.000. These figures demonstrate that the new
predictions predict the inter-eruption times much more accurately than the old predictions. Thus
the new predictions should make tourists more satisfied because they will now know the time of
the next eruption more accurately than they did before, making it more likely for them to view
the eruption without waiting unnecessarily long or missing it.
