As a future newly registered civil engineer, I’m looking forward to

working with a company that help me prioritize both my short term and
long-term goals as well as everything from in-depth training to goal setting
and regular feedback, factors that are especially important as I begin my
career. One of the companies that I’m looking forward to work with in the
near future is the Philippines Department of Public Works and Highways
abbreviated as DPWH. DPWH is currently responsible for the planning,
design, construction and maintenance of infrastructure, especially the
national highways, flood control and water resources development system,
and other public works in accordance with national development objectives.
One of my goals with this company is to have a good working background
and to establish firm connections with people that may help me in the near
future. I think being challenged to learn and to grow is one of the key
markers of a great company. In fact, getting out of my comfort zone is one
of the best ways to learn new skills and to find out who am I as a
professional. As a fresh graduate I always look for companies that make
me feel enthusiastic about taking on new challenges and offer the support I
need to turn those challenges into wins.To be a future Civil engineer is both
an honor and a responsibility. I want to use my voice to influence the youth
and raise awareness about certain causes like engineering management,
which is very relevant to my country the Philippines.
