Not with a why? Let's do yoga with the Y!
Free community event that took place at YMCA Lynfield
Youth and Leisure Centre on 17th August was filled with
so much enthusiasm and fitness spirit. We had people
from different age groups joining the event, practising
yoga with Dianne, getting a meditation shot and walking
away with green smoothie. The Y family is passionate
about the community and they go an extra mile to assist
each member at YMCA. In the event they performed a
Yen class, a bit of a slower class with deep breathings
at the end and Ashtanga class, which was modified
and dynamic, basically concerned with meditation.
The best advice for anyone walking in the centre is that
any movement is good for the body, as we get mature
balancing strength with flexibility is more important
and yoga delivers a great package for that! In case you
haven’t been here, or you live near the area pop in to ask
them what events are coming up next.
